Deltona, FL – Deputies arrest an 18-year-old Deltona man for abusing the emergency call system after he got upset that they entered his home.

Last Friday night around 11 o’ clock, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home in the 1600 block of Santee Avenue in Deltona after receiving reports that someone had been stabbed.

Upon arriving, they discovered a party going on inside the residence, at which point they made entry and identified themselves, according to the incident report.

It was at that point when they say a trio of males talked to them and assured them that everything was O.K.

That’s when Marquell Tillmon (picture courtesy Volusia County Jail) turned up as a participant in the alleged knife fight that prompted the call in the first place.

The Deltona man was booked after dialing 911 to report that the deputies were aggravating him and that they wouldn’t leave his home.

He was said to have been bothered by their presence, so he let them know of his disdain by the 911 call (click here to listen to it).

Tillmon was charged with the misuse of the 9-1-1 system.
