Mobile Testing Site Migrates From Speedway To Ballpark

Daytona Beach, FL - Looking for Curative’s testing site at the speedway? Try Jackie Robinson Ballpark next.

According to the City of Daytona Beach, the mobile testing site has since migrated from the Daytona International Speedway, down International Speedway Boulevard to Daytona Beach’s other sporting venue, Jackie Robinson Ballpark at City Island.

The new site can be found on City Island in the parking lot between the City Island Library and the ballpark—with the van sitting closer to the ballpark. The site is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and an appointment is required. Click here to make an appointment online, or call (888) 702-9042.

You will not be charged for the test, but you will be asked for health insurance information. If you don’t have health insurance, don’t worry, you won’t be turned away. Trained workers will be on-site observing and directing patients as they complete a self-collected, shallow nasal PCR test.

The test is available for symptomatic and asymptomatic patients ages one year and older. You can expect results within 48 hours once your sample makes it to the lab. Patients are asked to wear a face covering when going to the testing site.

If the Curative mobile testing site is out of your area, check the Volusia County COVID-19 webpage for a testing site near you. You can also use the Florida Department of Health website to locate a testing site and vaccination opportunities near you.

The best way to protect yourself from COVID-19 is to wear a face mask, wash your hands, and get a COVID-19 vaccine. If you're looking to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, be sure to visit the state health department's vaccine locator to find an opportunity closest to you.
