SJRWMD Public Workshop Scheduled For July 26

Palatka, FL - A public workshop is scheduled for Monday, July 26, 2021, to discuss the draft Central Springs/East Coast Regional Water Supply Plan and to take public comment. The St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) will host the workshop on water supply planning. Water supply plans identify future water supply needs for a 20-year planning horizon and program and project options needed to ensure sustainable supplies. The draft plan can be viewed at sjrwmd.com. It's open for public comment through August 27, 2021.

The workshop for the Volusia County sub-region will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Frank T. Bruno, Jr. County Council Chambers (Room 204), Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, 123 West Indiana Avenue, in DeLand.

The purpose of the workshop is to communicate the status, overall conceptual intent, and impacts of the Central Springs/East Coast Regional Water Supply Plan on existing and future reasonable-beneficial uses and related natural systems.
