Adult Programs Available At Port Orange Regional Library

Port Orange, FL - A wide range of programs are available this month at the Port Orange Regional Library and they won't cost you anything to take part.

The programs available are meant to help adults learn new skills and make new friends. Today and every Thursday, learn and play Mahjong. Also today, the Knitting Club gets together. Both programs begin at 10 a.m.

Next Monday, January 13, at 6 p.m., learn about the website, Lynda.com. You can get access to more than 63-hundred online courses. On Thursday, January 16 at 2 p.m., you can learn more about the services offered by The Council on Aging.

Here are the other programs taking place throughout the month. For information on any of these programs, you can contact the library at 386-322-5152.

  • Ask a Master Gardener on Tuesday, January 21 at 2 p.m.  You can bring in plants for a free check-up.
  • Our Friends Memory Cafe on Thursday, January 23 at 10 a.m.  This program is for people with dementia and their caregivers.  Space is limited so please call and reserve your spot.
  • Game Night on Thursday, January 23, at 6 p.m. Bring your own game or choose from the library's curated collection.
  • Cricut for Beginners, Thursday, January 30, at 6 p.m.  Discover the different machines available and how to use them for your own crafty purposes. Space is limited so please call for a reservation.
