Another Search Warrant, Another Drug House Shut Down

Bunnell, FL - A search warrant executed early last Friday (February 21) morning results in the shutdown of a known drug house on South Anderson Street in Bunnell.  Arrested are 36-year-old Nina Holley and 38-year-old Michael Boyd.

Flagler County Sheriff's deputies and Bunnell Police officers found four adults and three children, ages less than one year to two years old inside the home. Detectives seized Fentanyl, Cathinones (aka “Molly”), prescription pills and various paraphernalia to include scales, baggies, smoking devices, and used hypodermic needles. Some of those needles were found in a bedroom containing children's furniture and toys. No children were in the bedroom at the time.

“I want to thank the Bunnell Police Department for assisting our team on this Search Warrant and thank you to the numerous citizens who called and let us know what was taking place at 104 South Anderson Street,” Sheriff
Staly said. “This residence sits only one block away from the Eddie Johnson Community Park, where children
often gather for sporting events and outdoor activities. Not only that, there were children inside the house.
Because of this situation, it was critical for us to shut this drug house down before either someone inside the
home lost their life or the poison they were selling killed someone on the street.”

During interviews with the pair, Holley told investigators that she lived in the living room of the home. Because of that, the drugs and paraphernalia found in the house were attributed to her and she received the bulk of the charges. She has been and out of the Flagler County Jail 20 times since 2011. This time, she's charged with Drug Possession, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving without a License, Grand Theft, and Petit Theft. Her bond is set at $6,000.

Boyd told investigators that he lived in the garage. A search of his living area found an eyeglass case containing three metal spoons with white powder residue, two plastic containers with white powder residue, two used hypodermic needles, and three plastic baggies with residue. The powder in one of the baggies was field-tested which resulted in a presumptive positive as methylone.  At this time, he faces one charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond is set at $500.

The FCSO contacted the Florida Department of Children and Family Services who provided an immediate
response due to the conditions of the home and known drug activity reported by Detectives. The updated status
of the children is not known at this time. This investigation is ongoing and there may be additional charges and/or arrests.
