Ormond Beach, FL - Another biker loses their life in Ormond Beach following another fatal incident on US-1.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 60-year-old Virginia man riding a Harley-Davidson was riding northbound on US-1 in Ormond Beach while a 2017 Kia Sorrento, driven by 69-year-old Charles Cino of Ormond Beach, also traveled north close to 12:30 this afternoon (March 13th).

Per the report, FHP says that Cino began to slow down for congestion ahead of him on the highway. The rider, however, failed to slow down. Troopers say that the biker ended up being separated from his bike as he fell and hit the road as his bike slid and hit the rear of Cino's vehicle.

The biker died later at Halifax Health Medical Center as a result of his injuries. The crash remains under investigation but FHP says that charges are not pending.

Just yesterday (March 12th), another biker was killed after rear-ending a truck on Tomoka Farms road.
