Boil Water Notice For Daytona Beach Shores

Daytona Beach Shores, FL - A water outage in two Volusia cities leads to a mandatory boil water notice.

Around 11:30 this morning (February 11th), the Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety shared a notice from the city of Port Orange notifying residents about a water outage on Atlantic Avenue.

During that outage, the Oceans Atrium condos had no water, and Walgreens and Oceans 3 had no fire protection.

Later in the afternoon, DBSDPS announced that water was turned back on, but a mandatory boil water notice was in effect.

The Department of Public Safety says residents should boil water for up to one minute, or purchase water for consumption.

It is currently not known when the notice will be lifted.
