Bunnell, FL - Five suspects are now facing a multitude of charges after Flagler County investigators tie them to a residential break-in in Bunnell.
The Flagler County Sheriff's Office was alerted to the break-in last Thursday (June 25th) after the property manager found the back door to their Panda Bear Lane property pried open.
Multiple items were missing from the home. According to a release from FCSO, the stolen items included a jewelry box, washer and dryer, a lawnmower, prescription medications and an end table.
A nearby neighbor was able to provide investigators with surveillance footage showing a red Ford pick-up approaching the rear of the property with three unknown suspects inside.
During their investigation, the FCSO Problem Area Crime Enforcement (PACE) Unit deduced that the pick-up truck belonged to 30-year-old Taylor Landrum. Detectives say they were able to recognize the truck thanks to a wooden bumper and "distinctive tires."
Investigators soon met with Landrum, who said their acquaintance, 45-year-old Ocean Gregory, needed a ride to the residence because they previously lived there and needed to pick up some property of theirs. Once they were at the home, Gregory told the others that tagged along what was hers.
However, detectives determined that Gregory never lived there. Detectives also noted that some of the property remained in Landrum's truck while they were at the scene.
It didn't take long until investigators identified the others involved in the burglary. Along with Landrum and Gregory, FCSO also arrested 38-year-old Curtis Futch, 31-year-old Huston Futch and 38-year-old Nicole Tenison. All five of the suspects were charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and grand theft, among other charges.
FCSO says Landrum was already out on bond due to previous narcotics charges while Tenison was out on bond after she was caught driving with a suspended license. Both have since had their bonds revoked and are now in custody without bond.
Curtis Futch was given a $12,500 bond while Huston and Gregory received $10,000 bonds.
