Ormond Beach, FL - Investigators are trying to find out what happened before a fatal crash in the Loop.
The Ormond Beach Police Department reports that they were called out to the scene just south of Tomoka State Park on Beach Street right before 9:00 last night (May 19th).
Investigators say a black 2006 Mazda 6 with four occupants was northbound on Beach when it suddenly veered left and struck an oak tree on the west side of the roadway.
Two adults, Christopher and Amanda Brown, who are 32-years-old and 31-years-old, respectively, were hospitalized for their injuries along with a juvenile that was airlifted from the scene. The other juvenile passenger, 4-year-old Lilian Brown, passed away at the scene.
The investigation continues and the Ormond Beach Police Department says that they will release more information once it's available.
