Daytona Beach, FL - It's another busy day for officers as police investigate a possible road rage case.

Early reports say that the incident began at Fremont Avenue after the driver of a white van was reportedly hit by another vehicle before they were shot at.

After shots were fired, the victim fled the area in the van and drove all the way to the S. James Foxman Justice Center for help. Police are also reporting that the victim was shot in the back, but the injury appears to be non-life threatening.

This is the second shooting in Daytona Beach in two days and the third within a week. Today's incident comes after police shot and injured a rifle-wielding suspect at a Wawa gas station off of Ridgewood Avenue just yesterday (May 25th).

Additionally, officers are also investigating another shooting that took place over the weekend at a 7-11. That same day is when law enforcement also dealt with large crowds on the beachside during an "unsanctioned event."

We expect police to deliver more information soon. Check back later for updates.
