DBCC To Discuss Special Permits Including Biketoberfest

Daytona Beach, FL - The Daytona Beach City Commission will discuss licensing and permit provisions for special events, including Biketoberfest, at tomorrow (August 5) night’s meeting.

Mayor Derrick Henry said on national tv Monday that unless there is a drastic turnaround with the coronavirus, Biketoberfest, the fall motorcycle festival, will not happen this year.

Deputy City Manager James Morris suggested in a memorandum that the City Commission might want to request a safety operational plan from Biketoberfest organizers as they did from the Friends of the Bandshell.
