Daytona Beach, FL - With the victim's mother and other family members around him, Daytona Beach Police Chief Craig Capri announces the arrest of two teens, a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old female, in the shooting death of 18-year-old Eric Gordon on November 23.

Capri did not release many details in the investigation leading up to the arrests. He did say U.S. Marshals found the 17-year-old male in Georgia and arrested him.  He's expected to be extradited shortly. No information was released on where the female was arrested.

Both suspects already have serious criminal pasts, according to Capri. He said the male already has three felony arrests and the female has one felony arrest for resisting a law enforcement officer with violence.

Gordon's family members stood by quietly while Capri made the announcement, also saying that the suspects are "street thug killers."
