DBPD: Fatal Stabbing Suspect Sought

Daytona Beach, FL - Daytona Beach police need the public’s help in tracking down the suspect responsible for stabbing another man to death over a dispute involving a woman.

The Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD) says the stabbing occurred around 10:00 Thursday (Oct. 28) morning in the 200 block of Weaver Street. Responding officers found the victim lying in a parking lot with multiple stab wounds to his stomach. He was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center where he died on arrival.

Investigators say the suspect left the scene on foot and was seen heading north on Walnut Street towards Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man, possibly in his mid-30’s, with long black dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored long-sleeved shirt and dark-colored shoes.
