DBSPS Looking For High Speed Sport Bike Rider

Posted

Daytona Beach Shores, FL - Daytona Beach Shores Public Safety officers are looking for a pair of riders on a sport bike without a tag. They say the bike fled from them yesterday (March 3) on Atlantic Avenue at speeds in excess of 100 mph. They are described as a white male and white female (both of average build). The male was operating the motorcycle and the female was wearing a backpack.

DBSPS reminds you that fleeing from an officer who is attempting to stop you with lights and siren activated is a felony. Those penalties increase if the fleeing driver operates any motor vehicle at a high speed and/or with wonton disregard for the safety of persons or property.

If you can identify either of the riders on this motorcycle, please contact the criminal investigations division at 386-763-5347.
