DeLand, FL - The city of DeLand says a "couple" of Parks and Recreation employees have tested positive for COVID-19. The Parks and Recreation building at Bill Dreggors Park will be closed until further notice because of this.
Rentals for the Pavillion, the Boy Scout Huts, and the Lemon Room are suspended. The museum at the facility is also closed.
Freedom Playground and the park itself remain open. All of the other Parks and Recreation buildings - the Sanborn Activity and Events Center and the Chisholm Community Center – remain open.
