UPDATE: VSO's Bomb Squad found no suspicious package under the driver seat of the van. The item was part of the van's seat belt system
Ormond Beach, FL - A1A/Ocean Shore Blvd is shut down as the Volusia Sheriff's Office investigates a suspicious package.
VSO reported the incident around 3 p.m. today (January 16th). According to deputies, the package was found in a van near a Dollar General off of Ocean Shore Boulevard in Ormond Beach. A1A is shut down south of the store's location.
Avoid the area.
