DOH-Volusia Offering Free Walk-In COVID-19 Vaccinations May 22

Daytona Beach, FL - If you're busy and haven't had time to make an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine, the Department of Health (DOH) in Volusia County will offer vaccinations to walk-in clients next Saturday (May 22).

This opportunity is only available at the DOH's location on Holsonback Drive in Daytona Beach, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

"Providing as many opportunities possible for residents to be vaccinated is key in controlling the spread of this virus," said Patricia Boswell, administrator of DOH-Volusia. "We hope our residents will take advantage of this opportunity."

If you can't make the walk-in event, the DOH has plenty of other appointment-based vaccination opportunities throughout the county at four separate locations, including Holsonback Drive. To make an appointment, call 386-274-0500 and press #. Vaccination times and locations are as follows:

  • 421 Keech Street, Daytona Beach
    • Mondays & Wednesdays: 8:00-11:30 a.m. & 1:00-4:30 p.m.
  • 1845 Holsonback Drive, Daytona Beach
    • Tuesdays: 8:00-11:30 a.m. & 1:00-4:30 p.m.
    • Thursdays: 8:00-11:30 a.m. & 1:00-6:00 p.m.
  • 717 W. Canal Street, New Smyrna Beach
    • Mondays & Fridays: 8:00-11:30 a.m. & 1:00-4:30 p.m.
  • 775 Harley Strickland Boulevard, Orange City
    • Tuesdays & Thursdays: 8:00-12:30 a.m. & 1:00-4:30 p.m.

Vaccines will be provided free of cost. Remember to bring a photo ID with you when you go.
