Daytona Beach, FL - An annual event that helps Halifax Urban Ministries (HUM) in its mission to prevent homelessness and hunger in the community is happening on Saturday, August 14. This year's Empty Bowls Saturday Social charity event is presented by Radiology Associates Imaging Centers. Cold treats and light bites by local establishments will be served from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Hope Place, located at 1340 Wright St.

There will also be live music, raffles and a silent auction, tours, activities, and more! As a thank you, you will receive your choice of a beautiful, hand-made ceramic bowl created by a local Volusia County school art student.
For those unable to attend, you can still get one of the beautiful ceramic bowls by purchasing a ticket. HUM staff will select one for you.
