FCSO Celebrates 32nd Annual National Night Out With Demonstrations And Fun Activities

Flagler Beach, FL - FCSO is set to celebrate the 32nd annual National Night Out on Tuesday, October 4.

The event will feature demonstrations by the Sheriff's Office, Halloween treats, safety info, games, face painting, bounce houses, food and drinks, entertainment, and plenty of other fun activities.

It's open to the public and people are being encouraged to bring their kids for a night of family fun.

The event will be held from 5 to 8 PM at Veterans Park in Flagler Beach, in front of Flagler Beach City Hall at 105 S. Second St.

FCSO's Mobile Command Unit, SWAT, and other units will be displayed at the event.

“We’ll be focusing our efforts on safety related to firearms, bicycles and skateboards,”said Flagler Beach Police Department Captain Matt Doughney. “We’ll be handing out free gun locks, free bicycle helmets, free bicycle lights and free skateboard helmets. The goal is to make our city safe for everyone.”

“National Night Out is a great night for the community to come out for fun as well as being reminded about crime prevention,” Sheriff James L. Manfre said. “It’s good for everyone.”
