FCSO Looking For Suspect Putting Plastic Easter Eggs With Explicit Messages In Mailboxes

Posted

Bunnell, FL - If you find a plastic Easter egg in your mailbox with an explicit or pornographic message, you're asked to contact the Flagler County Sheriff's Office. Yesterday (April 5), FCSO received calls from several residents reporting that's what they found.

Deputies were told that the mailbox had the flag in the up position.  Inside the mailbox, the callers found an egg with a cracker in the shape of a fish, one sheet of toilet paper, a powdered drink mix, and a crumpled up piece of paper containing pornographic images.

“The person who did this is not only a very sick individual but could actually be spreading COVID-19 by their actions,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “We are working to identify the offender and put them in the Green Roof Inn. If anyone else receives something like this or has information on who did this, we ask that you call us immediately.”

These incidents are under investigation. FCSO asks that people contact them if they have any information on a suspect. They also ask people to  check surveillance video for a possible suspect or suspect vehicle.

Please call 386-313-4911 or email TIPS@FlaglerSheriff.Com, and mention Case No. 2020-32323. You can also call CrimeStoppers of NE Florida at 1-888-277-TIPS.
