Daytona Beach, FL - A career criminal and the woman he shot in Sanford last year are both behind bars after Daytona Beach Police discovered an illegal drug operation inside a local home.

32-year-old Keldron Waddy and 29-year-old Johnneia Marimon each face numerous drug-related charges – including trafficking – following a raid at Bishop Butts Circle.

Captain of DBPD’s Problem-Oriented Policing (POP) Unit, Scott Lee says three kinds of illegal drugs were found in the home along with evidence of intent to sell

DBPD’s SWAT Unit raided the home Wednesday, January 26, to execute a probable cause search warrant signed by a Volusia County judge.

Waddy and Marimon were both found in the home by SWAT officers.

A search of the property turned up over a pound of cannabis, 6.1 grams of morphine, and 1.5 grams of fentanyl along with paraphernalia, materials used for drug distribution, hundreds of dollars in cash, and three cell phones.

The man, Waddy violated a no-contact order signed by a Seminole County judge last December. He was charged with aggravated battery with a firearm by the Sanford Police Department for shooting Marimon in a parking lot.

The no-contact order specified that Waddy could not contact Marimon after his release from Seminole County Jail, but Waddy– who is an official Florida Career Offender – has been living with Marimon inside the Bishop Butts home.

Both are in Volusia County Jail on felony charges of trafficking morphine and unlawful possession of cannabis/fentanyl with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a place of worship.

Waddy is also charged with failure to register as a career offender, violating his no-contact order, and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon after detectives found bullets inside a clear sandwich bag while searching the kitchen.

Marimon is also facing a misdemeanor charge of providing a false statement to police while harboring a career offender.
