Palm Coast, FL - Florida Highway Patrol says state troopers are on the lookout for a black van that might have hit and killed a bicyclist in Palm Coast.

A report from FHP says the bicyclist, identified only as a 58-year-old Palm Coast man, was traveling northbound and attempting to cross Palm Coast Parkway to Leanni Way early Wednesday morning (Dec. 1) when a vehicle headed westbound on the parkway struck the bicycle.

The suspect fled the area after the crash. The bicyclist was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Investigators say the suspect vehicle is possibly a black van and will have damage to its right front, right fender and to the right side of the windshield. Anyone with information on this case is urged to contact either the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office or Florida Highway Patrol.
