Daytona Beach, FL - Months of investigating into the death of a 34-year-old man last summer leads to murder charges for five males.

And one of those males is a juvenile.

19-year-old Aziz Felder, 29-year-old Brandon Craft, 18-year-old Jaheim Hicks, 19-year-old Julian Fadley and 17-year-old Dionysius Nicols were handed down indictments by a Volusia County grand jury at the start of this week (October 28th) in relation to the murder of 34-year-old Randy Mueller.

Daytona Beach police were initially called to Mueller's apartment around 9:30 back on July 3rd for a well-being check. That call came in after a woman said she hadn't heard from Mueller in four days and wanted DBPD to check out his apartment at the Park at Via Corso, off of Sutton Circle.

An officer checked out his home and received no reply. While at the apartment, the officer became suspicious after smelling a strong odor coming from inside. He found that the front door was unlocked, allowing him to enter the apartment after backup units arrived.

Once inside, police found Mueller dead with signs of foul play. After that, DBPD's Criminal Investigative Division took over.

Craft and Fadley are currently in custody at Volusia County Jail. Nicols is at the Volusia County Department of Juvenile Justice, awaiting transfer to VCJ. Felder and Hicks are awaiting extradition in Boone, North Carolina. They face separate charges there as well as for a separate carjacking case in Ormond Beach.

There is also no mugshot on file for Nicols.

Police say that the case is still going through the legal process, meaning they cannot release any more information right now.
