Flagler Fire Services Running Open House Outreach

Posted

Palm Coast, FL - Flagler County's emergency services will host a series of community outreach programs through 2020, with one coming tomorrow (January 11th) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

It all takes place at Fire Station 41 in the Hammock off of Oceanshore Blvd. There residents can see the equipment used by firefighters and the fire house's marine unit.

Jerry Smith, Flagler County Fire Marshal, say's it's all a great way to meet firefighters, outside of an actual emergency.

"The community outreach is designed to give residents the opportunity to meet (everyone) working at their neighborhood firehouses."

Florida Forest Service will also be present, along with Flagler County Emergency Management, who plans on providing storm and disaster preparedness information and register attendees for ALERTFlagler notifications.
