Florida Now Has 830 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases - Volusia Has 12

Daytona Beach, FL - The state of Florida now has 830 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 67 new cases and one death reported this morning (March 22).  The number of positive cases in Volusia County now stands at 12.

Volusia County announced on Friday that as of tomorrow (March 23), most County offices will reduce public office hours , until further notice.

The temporary public access hours are:

  • Mondays: 8 a.m. to noon
  • Tuesdays: 1 to 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 8 a.m. to noon
  • Thursdays: 1 to 5 p.m.
  • Fridays: 8 a.m. to noon

The new hours also apply to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office on the fourth floor of the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center.

If you have business that can't wait, you are encouraged to use volusia.org or contact offices by phone or email from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some departments will provide appointment options for alternative hours.
