Deltona, FL - A grandmother ended up in jail after she slapped her daughter over an argument about Bible school.

The daughter told Volusia County deputies that it all started at their Prairie Circle home, after telling her kids to go brush their teeth. That's when her kids began to argue, causing her mother, 70-year-old Laura Falls, to intervene.

According to the report and the narrative given by the daughter, Falls told the kids that they were "making her life miserable" and they wouldn't be going to Bible school that day (June 25th).

She then advised falls that she shouldn't talk to her kids like that, but instead let her know so she could handle it herself.

The two began to yell at each other and argue, before Falls supposedly slapped her across the face.

After doing so, the daughter called the Volusia County Sheriff's office and falls left the home, walking towards Hemley Terrace.

When deputies arrived, she told them that she didn't have any injuries and she didn't want to pursue charges.

Deputies eventually met with Falls, who told them that she and her daughter did get into a verbal disagreement over her grandchildren arguing.

Falls' narrative said that the daughter got into her face and started to yell and antagonize her.

After giving her side of the story, she "spontaneously" admitted to slapping her daughter in order for her to stop screaming at her, according to the report.

Falls was placed under arrested for simple battery. She ended up at Volusia County Jail and has since been released.
