Holly Hill, FL - A 37-year-old Ormond Beach man is dead after police in Holly Hill say he was shot dead inside of a business.
Officers with the Holly Hill Police Department (HHPD) were called to the business on Walker Street after receiving reports Thursday (May 6) afternoon that someone had been shot. When police arrived, they found 37-year-old Allen Philip Fike dead. Police also secured one unnamed subject at the scene.
According to an email from the police department, investigators believe Fike had gone to the business to confront the owner about merchandise, in which they had an ongoing dispute over.
Detectives are currently working with the State Attorney's Office to complete the investigation. At this time, no charges have been filed.
