Investigation Continues Into Port Orange Fire Chief


Port Orange, FL - When Port Orange Fire Department (POFD) chief Ken Fustin was put on administrative leave last week (April 7), the only information available was that there had been an altercation between Fustin and Volusia County Director of Public Protection Joe Pozzo.

Port Orange Fire Chief On Paid Leave

A Notice of Investigation letter from Interim City Manager Jaime Miller sheds a little more light on the event that led to Fustin's administrative leave. The letter temporarily relieves him of command and instructs him not to have contact with any staff that would be contrary to what the letter details.
