Daytona Beach, FL - A country music star and native Floridian will entertain the crowd at Daytona International Speedway just before the 61st running of the Great American Race. Jake Owen is the headliner for this year's Daytona 500 pre-race show, according to an announcement yesterday (January 30th) from DIS.
“Fans will be able to see one of the hottest names in country music perform on stage” said Chip Wile, president of Daytona International Speedway. “Jake is going to deliver an unforgettable experience to our fans." The Vero Beach native and multi-platinum selling singer/songwriter is no stranger to the Daytona Beach area, having filmed the video for his song "Beachin" at the World's Most Famous Beach.
DIS is selling special pre-race show ticket packages for $239. It includes a ticket to the race as well as access to the UNOH Fanzone and VIP areas. Another country music singer - Tyler Farr - was the pre-race show headliner at last year's Daytona 500.
