Victim's condition unknown, police launching investigation

UPDATE: The victim is identified as 32-year-old Justin Paul Blauberg. Holly Hill Police Chief Steve Aldrich says that investigators are still processing the victim’s vehicle for physical evidence at this time.   They are also canvassing the area for any possible witnesses to the actual shooting incident.

Holly Hill, FL - Police in Holly Hill launch an investigation after a man was found shot.

According to their report, officers responded to the parking lot of the Charleston Place Apartments off of Charleston House Way last night (January 1st) after receiving reports that someone was shot.

Once officers arrived, they found a vehicle that had crashed into a parked car. Inside the vehicle that crashed into the parked car was a man who appeared to have been shot. Medical personnel from the Holly Hill  Fire Department and EVAC rendered aid to the man and transported him to Halifax Health Medical Center.

Their identity has not been released.

Witnesses that were in the area report seeing a white vehicle that fled the scene, but it's not known if that vehicle pertains to the investigation.
