New Smyrna Beach, FL - A 22-year-old man is charged with stealing an airplane. Robert Stienstra was arrested just after 1 a.m. today (June 20) at the New Smyrna Beach Airport.
Stienstra is also charged with trespassing in an operational area of an airport, grand theft of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a crash involving damage, possession of marijuana of less than 20 grams, and possession of paraphernalia. He is in the Volusia County Jail being held on a $7,000 bond.
