Missing Palm Coast Teen Found Safe In Pinellas County

Palm Coast, FL - Over two weeks after he was reported missing, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office announced that a missing Palm Coast teen has been found.

FCSO originally announced the search for 13-year-old Xandar Garrett alongside the search for 30-year-old Jamal Bell back in late-October. Bell was found in Georgia about a week after deputies announced that he was missing, but Garrett—whose disappearance was unrelated to Bell's—was still nowhere to be found.

Earlier reports from the Sheriff's Office said the most up-to-date information investigators had was that Garrett was no longer in Flagler County, which broadened the search.

Then, another week later, FCSO announced that Garrett was located in Pinellas County and turned over to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

“We want to thank the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office for locating Xandar and helping to reunite him with his family,” Flagler Sheriff Rick Staly said. “We are happy that he was returned home and is safe. Thank you to the community who helped share the message and kept a lookout for this boy.”

His family has since picked him up, according to a press release from FCSO.
