More Than 2,000 Tested at Volusia Fairgrounds

DeLand, FL - COVID-19 testing is in its third week at the Volusia County Fairgrounds with an average of more than 100 people a day getting tested by the Florida Department of Emergency Management.

As of yesterday, more than two thousand people have taken the viral test with more than one thousand of them also taking the antibody test. There have been more than one hundred positive antibody results.

Testing continues this week and next, Thursday through Tuesday, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. There’s no testing on Wednesdays because of the farmer’s market. Appointments can be made online at doIneedacovid19test.com.
