UPDATE 3:05 PM: The beachside isn't spared of any delays. A look at the map shows that both sides of A1A approaching Granada Blvd are slowing down with minor congestion. There are also reports of delays headed west towards the bridge. While conditions are improving still expect delays throughout most of Ormond Beach

UPDATE: 2:55 PM: Conditions seem to be improving on the northbound side of I-95 as traffic can be seen moving through the area. Still expect delays as the congestion clears.

UPDATE 2:39 PM: We're getting reports of delays on both sides of Williamson Blvd from LPGA to Granada Blvd. Again, expect very heavy delays throughout the majority of Ormond Beach.

UPDATE: Congestion delays are also being found on the eastbound side of Granada now, same goes for both sides of US-1 in Ormond from I-95 to Airport Rd.

A pair of crashes is currently causing major problems on both sides of I-95 and the westbound side of Granada Blvd in the Ormond Beach area.

First, a fatal crash on the northbound side of I-95 near Exit 268 for Granada Blvd/SR 40 has the two right lanes blocked. Traffic is currently backed up for about 8 miles, which is past ISB/US-92 in Daytona Beach. This scene has been active since about 11 a.m. this morning.

Second, a crash on the southbound side of I-95 near Exit 273 for US-1 currently has both shoulders blocked with traffic stretching all the way back to Exit 278 Old Dixie Hwy.

Lastly, with the very heavy delays on I-95, the westbound side of Granada is dealing with very heavy congestion. Traffic is currently backing up from the I-95 overpass near Williamson Blvd past Nova Rd, which is about 5 miles.

Expect very heavy congestion throughout Ormond Beach and on I-95. If possible, try to seek an alternate route for today's travels. Good luck, and stay safe. We will pass along updates as they come. You can find updates live at FM 93.5 AM 1150 WNDB, on our Facebook, and on our Twitter.
