Daytona Beach, FL - The more than four month long search for 39-year-old James Williams is over after he turned himself in at the Volusia County Jail yesterday (April 8). Williams is the suspect in the shooting death of his cousin, Leonie Smith on November 23, 2020.

Williams, already a convicted felon, is charged with Second Degree Murder with a Firearm and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He is a six-time convicted felon, is currently on felony probation until 07/01/2022, and is being held without bond.
