No Word On Rockville Cancellation

Daytona Beach, FL - Following a flurry of cancellations nationwide, people are beginning to wonder if Daytona's newest rock festival will soon follow suit.

And while they may want an answer, the festival's organizers haven't decided what to do just yet.

Of course, the festival that is on everyone's mind is Welcome to Rockville, one of the largest rock festivals in the state of Florida, which is slated for early May at Daytona International Speedway.

But, even though the strain of coronavirus fears has already pressured some festival organizers to postpone or cancel, Rockville's organizers, Danny Wimmer Presents, haven't made an official announcement yet on the fate of their festivals.

That's all according to a post the organizers made on Facebook which shows that they're still discussing the situation with professionals.

"Information is changing incredibly fast and we are assessing the situation carefully with health professionals and government officials," DWP said in their post. "As soon as we have a definitive direction, we'll be in touch..."

News Daytona Beach will deliver updates on Rockville when they're made available.
