NSB Commission To Hear Results Of Community Input Study

New Smyrna Beach, FL - During a public workshop tonight, the New Smyrna Beach City Commission and local residents will hear the results of a community input study to determine where the city should focus its tax dollars.

More than sixty members of the community participated in a pair of input meetings to determine how community services should be funded.

There are seven services in a questionnaire filled out by the residents. Twenty-five percent is slotted for infrastructure, twenty-two for the environment, eighteen for neighborhoods, thirteen for maintenance, eleven for parks, nine for public safety, and two percent for other things
