NSBPD Arrests Man In Road Rage Incident

New Smyrna Beach, FL - The New Smyrna Beach Police Department is charging 28-year-old Jordan Alexander Beckford-Wallace with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon after a road rage incident on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded to the intersection of SR 44 and Colony Park Rd at about 1:40 p.m. The victim reported that a black man driving a silver Acura SUV fired a handgun at the vehicle after the victim accidentally cut him off in traffic.

Beckford-Wallace did flee the area but was located a short time later and arrested without incident. Officers took the firearm and spent shell casing and submitted them into evidence.  The victim was not injured.

Beckford-Wallace was also charged with Discharging a Firearm from a Vehicle and Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle. He's out of jail on a $30,000 bond.
