New Smyrna Beach, FL - The New Smyrna Beach Police Department is working to make some lives brighter with their 30th annual "Operation Christmas Cheer."
NSBPD will arrange a complete Christmas for as many families in need as they can this year. They are now accepting donations and gathering new unwrapped toys, games, crafts, and clothing in several locations.
Collection boxes are at the following locations in New Smyrna Beach: the Police Department, City Hall and at the Fire Department. The event has taken place every year since 1989.
"Operation Christmas Cheer" continues through December 21. At that time, all collected items will be distributed to families in need in New Smyrna Beach.
