Daytona Beach, FL - An Ohio-based chain with 13 locations is set to open up shop in Daytona starting next year.

The Chef Art Pour Restaurant Group will bring their chain, Burntwood Tavern, which already has three Florida locations, into the open spot underneath the Daytona hotel located at One Daytona.

The store will overlook the splash fountain, Victory Circle as well as P.F. Changs and Rock Bottom.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing Burntwood Tavern to ONE DAYTONA and guests in the Daytona Beach area. The community has a terrific synergy, and we feel Burntwood Tavern will be a nice complement adding balance to a dynamic collection of restaurants, shops and entertainment,” said Bret Adams, founder of Chef Art Pour Restaurant Group.

Adams also said in a release that Burntwood will integrate itself into the community and support local schools, organizations, as well as police and firefighters in the Daytona area.

The location will host indoor and outdoor patio seating with "centuries-old" barn wood and rustic fixtures, a staple of Burntwood's decor. The menu will offer a mix of classic tavern and modern-American cuisine including a full bar featuring craft beers, cocktails and its own house-infused vodkas.

Burntwood is expected to open in 2020. Other locations in the state include Naples, Orlando and Fort Myers. You can visit their website for more information.
