Orange City's City Council Taking Next Steps On Master Facility Plan

Posted

Orange City, FL - Orange City's City Council will hear a presentation of the final report on a Master Facility Plan at tomorrow (June 8) night's meeting. It would relocate the Police Station and Fire Station #68, replace Fire Station #67 at its current location, and build a new city building that will house the City Council Chamber, the City Clerk, the City Manager, and other city offices.

City Council has held five workshops since March 10, 2020, with a primary goal of developing a fiscally responsible plan for providing City facilities to meet current and future needs.

The next steps are to implement Phase 1, which calls for concept site plans for the relocations of the police station to Ohio Avenue, and Fire Station #68.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
