Ormond Attack Suspect Arrested, Bonds Out

Ormond Beach, FL - A man who stands accused of viciously attacking a woman near an Ormond bar is arrested by police and bonds out within 24 hours.

The Ormond Beach Police Department says 32-year-old John William Brandone, who was wanted in relation to May 30th's attack near the Ormond Garage, was arrested without incident yesterday (June 18th).

After he was identified, the Ormond Beach Police Department filed an arrest warrant for Brandone.

According to a police report, he was spotted by someone who recognized him from the news at Perrine's Produce Market in Port Orange. Police soon arrived and arrested Brandone after the tip was called in.

He was charged with felony battery, which carried a bond of $25,000. Records show that Brandone has since bonded out of Volusia County Jail.
