UPDATE: OBPD says the man presented a robbery note to a teller at the Trustco Bank and implied he had a gun around 11:17 a.m. this morning. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to the man. He left the bank and walked south from the bank. A search of the area ended with negative results.
The suspect is described as a white male with dark skin, unshaven, about 30-35 years of age, wearing a black ball cap, blue long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and sunglasses, 5'10" to 6' tall, and weighing around 150 to 160 pounds. He was carrying a black bag when he left the bank.
Ormond Beach, FL - Ormond Beach Police are looking for a man they say robbed the Trustco Bank located at 115 N.Nova Road this morning.
Witnesses say that the man had a foreign accent, possibly Arabic, and implied he had a gun during the robbery. A tentative description of the man is that he's between 30 and 35 years old, has a dark complexion, and possibly has long hair. He was wearing a hat and sunglasses during the robbery.
He escaped with money from the bank.
