Palm Coast Special Mayoral Election Tomorrow

Posted

Palm Coast, FL - Tomorrow, residents will vote to see who will fill the vacancy left by the former mayor of Palm Coast, Milissa Holland, who resigned suddenly earlier this year.

Registered and eligible resident voters must cast their ballot at their assigned polling place, unless they have been assigned to a temporary polling location for this election only. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (If you need help finding your precinct, click here)

Residents who decided to vote via a mail-in ballot but missed the window to send the ballot can return them to the Flagler County Elections Office. If you bring your mail-in ballot to a polling location your mail-in ballot will be cancelled and you will be given a new ballot. Mail-in ballots cannot be used as a sample ballot in the election.

Those vying for the mayor's seat in this special election are David Alfin, Kathy Austrino, Carol Bacha, Doug Courtney, Cornelia Downing Manfre, and Alan S. Lowe. The seat was vacated after Holland resigned suddenly in May, citing her daughter's health concerns as the reason for her departure.
