Port Orange Family Halloween Display Raises Money For Homeless Animals

Port Orange, FL - Due to the constraints of COVID-19, traditional trick-or-treating is not easy. Instead of that you can take your kids to see Halloween lights. The Wilson family of Port Orange is holding their fifth annual Halloween Light Display and Charity Drive at their home located at 1121 West Willow Run Drive.

The show runs from 7pm to 10pm each night, Friday, October 16, through Sunday, November 1.  The Wilson's say donations are not required but even the smallest goes a long way. "We are collecting dog and cat food for Sophie’s Circle and other local animal adoption centres. Wet, dry, canned or bagged food or treats are gladly accepted. Gift certificates and cash donations are also happily accepted. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to local shelters and adoption centres. Please drop donations into the Red and Green Box located near the archway entrance."

The Wilsons say you can see the lights from the safety of your car  or you can go through  the haunted walk-thru. Friday and Saturday nights will have a special edition of live scare actors. Social distancing guidelines will be followed at all times.
