Port Orange, FL - An 11-year-old girl from Port Orange and her 140-pound Neopolitan Mastiff are in New York City to be part of this year’s Westminster Dog Show.
Mackenzie Kephart and her dog Claudius will step into the ring tomorrow morning for the Junior Showmanship Preliminaries. She said they received an invitation after getting enough points to be in the top three of the breed in the U.S.
Mackenzie said if they do well in the preliminaries, they’ll move on to the Junior Showmanship Finals which take place at Madison Square Garden starting at 7 p.m. It will be telecast on Fox Sports 1.
