Port Orange, FL - A 34-year-old Port Orange man is behind bars facing 20 counts of possession of child pornography. Claud Yarborough, IV's bond is set at $400,000.
Port Orange Police say Yarborough's ex-girlfriend contacted police on January 14, 2020, after finding the images on his cell phone. She found them because she had his phone while he was in jail on a warrant out of Brevard County. The day before, the ex used Yarborough's ohone to send him a picture. She said she hit the camera app but got the photo galley app instead. There she discovered numerous pictures of naked females.
The ex-girlfriend said she found a message thread between Yarborough and a user with the name "notmyrealage." In it, he messaged that he fantasized about sex with underage girls. There was another thread with a female claiming she was 12-years-old. Investigators say the estimated ages of the underage girls on Yarborough's phone is from five to eight years of age.
A search by the ex-girlfriend of their bedroom found another phone. It contained multiple images of what appeared to be child porn.
Investigators say more charges are pending.
