You will need to RSVP if you're going to attend because of limited venue capacity. Face coverings are highly encouraged when social distancing is not possible. The candidates' resumes can be found on the port-orange.org website.

District 2 councilmember Chase Tramont said the reception will be at the Lakeside Community Center from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. "It's very informal. It's just an opportunity for people from the public if they want to come by and interact and see them interact with different residents, answering questions and what-not. There's not going to be anything formal."

On Friday, things become very formal for the candidates. In the morning, each member of the City Council will interview each candidate individually, spending 30 to 40 minutes with each one. Tramont says after lunch, there will be public interviews in Council chambers open to the public scheduled from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. "Each one of those candidates will be grilled by every single one of our council members and they'll be asked to answer public questions. Chambers will be open to the public. It will be live-streamed just as our regular council meetings are."
