Ormond Beach, FL - After the Supreme Court rejected an emergency request to block Texas's abortion ban, womensmarch.com put out a call to action. Locally, Christina Quinn answered the call and has a "Rally for Abortion Justice" event set for this Saturday, October 2, at the Granada Bridge in Ormond Beach.

Quinn said they'll meet on the west side of the bridge to walk over it at 10 a.m. and then they'll walk back again. She said when Texas Senate Bill 8 went into effect this month she wanted to do something so she organized a rally. "When I found out Florida and other states were going to follow through, I wanted to do something. I knew about the October 2 national march and realized that nobody had organized here in the Ormond Beach area."
