Daytona Beach, FL - Seabreeze High Schools undergoes a lockdown after someone reported that another student supposedly had a weapon.
News Daytona Beach began to investigate after multiple tips were sent into the newsroom about the possible incident.
The Volusia Sheriff's Office confirmed that there was an apparent report about a weapon being on the campus but the report was unfounded.
Kelly Schulz with Volusia County Schools also confirmed that the school went under a brief lockdown after a student made the report. The campus was searched and no weapon was found. Schulz also said that the report was most likely fueled by a rumor.
